John P. Ackerman, PhD

A child and adolescent psychologist, John serves as the Suicide Prevention Coordinator for the Center for Suicide Prevention and Research (CSPR) at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Lynda Michaud Cutrell

Executive, advocate, and family member, Lynda served as former President of the Board of Directors of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Massachusetts Chapter. Most recently she created the “99 Faces Project,” which was exhibited at the Boston Museum of Science.

Marcia Head, LICSW

A Boston-practicing clinical social worker and therapist, Marcia also serves on the boards of Brigham and Women’s Neurosciences Advisory, Furnishing Hope of Massachusetts, American Repertory Theater, and New School of Music.

Patrick J. Kennedy

During his 16 years in the U.S. House of Representatives, Patrick fought to end discrimination against those with mental illness, addiction, and other brain diseases. He is the Co-Founder of Psych Hub and Founder of The Kennedy Forum.

Eileen McAnneny

Eileen is an attorney who became President of the Massachusetts Taxpayers Foundation in 2015, after more than 20 years of government relations, public policy, advocacy, and managerial experience in both the public and private sectors in Massachusetts.

Diane Patrick, JD

A lawyer, teacher, mother, and active member of her community, Diane is a Senior Counsel at Ropes & Gray LLP, having retired from the firm at the end of 2016 after practicing for over 30 years in the labor and employment area. She has a record of distinguished professional and public service.

Gigi Sagansky

In addition to being a published writer and DJ, Gigi is host of Driven Minds (in partnership with Porsche Type 7), her mental strength podcast inspired by her own arduous mental health journey.

Lynn Sanford, LICSW

Lynn is a clinical social worker who began her career over 40 years ago working with victims of sexual assault. She has taught at various graduate schools of social work for 25 years and is the author of Strong at the Broken Places: Building Resiliency in the Lives of Survivors.

Michelle Walker, CCIFP, SPHR

As Vice President of Finance and Administration at SSC Underground, Michelle is the founding chair of the Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention, a nonprofit working to unite the industry to provide workplace solutions for the challenges of mental illness, addiction, and suicide.

Leah Wellbaum

Leah is a musician, artist, writer, and member of the band Slothrust, whose latest album Parallel Timeline was released in September 2021.

Barry White, JD

An experienced and very successful senior leader and manager in both the public and private sectors, Barry served with distinction as the U.S. Ambassador to Norway under President Barack Obama. Prior to that, he was an associate and later partner at Foley Hoag LLP for 40 years.
