Behavioral Health Consultant

Jen Matoney has a mental health and suicide prevention training background and has led suicide loss support groups since 2011. In addition to her Behavioral Health Consultant training role, Jen responds to traumatic events at schools, provides support to families, and leads coping groups as part of our Critical Incident Team.

She is also a leading member of our statewide disaster preparedness team in her role as Senior Responder. During the height of the pandemic, Jen served as a Crisis Outreach Counselor for MassSupport, the state’s Crisis Counseling Program that Riverside Trauma Center co-managed. Jen also co-chairs Pioneer Valley Coalition for Suicide Prevention and serves as Director of Programs and Communications for United Suicide Survivors International.
